Woodson Ice Hockey Club is fortunate to have a terrific volunteer coaching staff,  who devote their expertise and countless hours of their time to develop our players.  Coach Dean and Coach Egan work together to instill a love of hockey, a sense of fair play and sportsmanship in our student / athletes.

 
Keith Dean is a native of Buffalo, New York, and has been living in Fairfax, Virginia, since 1983. Keith is happily married with two teenage daughters.

Keith has been involved with hockey for over 35 years. He began his career in the Amherst, New York house league program, then went on to play for Nichols High School, Union College, and the Fairfax Pirates. This is his sixth year as coach of the Woodson Ice Hockey Club.

Coach Dean has attained his USAH Level 4 coaching certification.

 

 

Gill and his wife, Dyan are Canadian transplants. Gill and Dyan have 2 children, Melany and Nathan.

Gill played minor hockey on up to Junior hockey in his home town of Nepean, Ontario. After 2 years of Junior hockey, Gill played college hockey at Union College in Schenectady, NY. Following graduation Gill played and coached for 2 years in Europe.

Gill has received his level 4 USA hockey coaching certificate. This is Gill's sixth year coaching Woodson ice hockey.

WIHC has a strong volunteer base within the club.   Our Executive Board members are all parent volunteers.  We are an all volunteer club and welcome your participation in our efforts.
